DESCRIPTION OF WELLINGTON

The Welly has a family atmosphere and is a great place to unwind after a hard day at work, we serve bar meals between 5 and 8 in the evening and have Big Screen TV with SKY, showing most major sporting events.

We also have a large function room, which we use for special nights and is also available to book for parties, weddings and other special occasions. Please take a look around our web site and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

On weekends we welcome tourists and families to the Welly, who find it an ideal base to explore the wonders the South Lakes have to offer. All rooms include TV, tea & coffee making facilities.

"The Welly makes Dalton the party town it is. There's nothing particularly sophisticated about it - it's just good old-fashioned fun. It's a large-ish pub with a section that's set apart as a dance floor, where you can strut/stagger your stuff (depending on your level of inebriation) to the variety of chart music (past and present) that's played. A friendly crowd and a good atmosphere means that it's a good night out for locals and visitors alike."
