"Nice small site - only 1.5 acres... Surrounded on one side by soneones back garden, on 2 sides by houses, and then on the other beautiful views over the Lake District. We are not members of the Caravan and Camping Club, but were made to feel welcome - good cheap fees - 6.50 a night, but the poor toilet facilities reflect this - along with the fact there is just the one toilet, no showers etc. Goes to show - you get what you pay for - we only stayed because of certain circumstances, and probably would not choose to go back, although people who do tend to go there have ben there time and time again. Oh yeah - did I mention the 2 cockrals in the next field too?? 3.15am they started!!!!!! "
