REVIEWS

"An excellent site as long as you understand that it is fairly basic - no showers yet, just a toilet that you walk up the road and through the farmyard to reach. It's clean, with paper, soap, towel and hot water. The owner/farmer and his dad are very friendly and helpful, the site is quiet, the views are wonderful and there are lots of things to do within easy reach. Exceptional value. "

"Excellent, friendly, peaceful, and as previous reviewer said, small, but lovely views. However they are wrong about lack of shops there is the world famous Woodall Sausage makers shop less than 1 mile away which also sells all the basics, and an excellent everything grocer and newsagent, less than five miles away in each direction. So not so remote after all!"

"This campsite consists of a field with a tap and chemical disposal unit for your own toilets. The toilet and sink is situated a few mins walk away in the farmyard, very nice and new, its even got toilet paper, soap and towel in there. There's an electic hook up if you need it. The only down side was that there was no shops within 7/8 miles so take everything you need with you. The farmer may even sell you a few eggs or milk if you ask nicely. The estuary is across the road, but the beach is quite a walk away, nice walk if its a good day, you walk along a nature reserve to get there. And to top it all off it only cost us £2 a tent!!! "
