DESCRIPTION OF CUMBRIAN WAY

At The Cumbrian Way we supply only the finest Cumbria made foods and crafts. Each item is specially selected by Sandie and Alison. We have selected only the finest foods, including preserves, pickles, jams, relishes, sauces, spices, seasonings, chutneys, jellies, curds, biscuits and much more. We prefer to choose foods which are made in traditional ways but using both traditional and modern ingredients to add a new and exciting twist to an old favourite.

A wonderful range of jams, jellies, chutneys, oils, vinegars and salts such as Penrith spiced salt, produced in Cumbria. Our favourite of the jams, Cumbrian Blackberry, Elderberry & Juniper Extra Jam is simply delicious.

Wild & Fruitful preserves, curds, jam, pickles and relishes are made using locally produced fruit, vegetables and herbs or fruit that are picked from a known growers. Many of these ingredients are produced without the use of sprays or artificial fertilisers and most come from hedgerows, private gardens and orchards in Cumbria, including National Trust properties

REVIEWS

"A small friendly shop, which does excellent food. The carrot cake is the best you'll ever taste and the name "salad box" does not do justice to the delicious assortment of basmati rice, coronation chicken, chickpea salad (I could go on) that you get in their salad boxes."
